Our Acquisition Process

1. Introduction

An initial meeting is held between Goode Investments and the Vendor to discuss objectives, explore opportunities, and establish alignment.

2. Negotiation

Goode Investments and the Vendor engage in negotiations to reach fair and mutually beneficial terms. Goode Investments will then present the Vendor with a non-binding heads of agreement (HOA) for consideration.

3. Offer

Once the non-binding HOA is accepted, Goode Investments will proceed with a formal offer. Upon acceptance, a Sale and Purchase Agreement will be executed.

4. Due Diligence & Finance

Goode Investments commences the due diligence process and arranges finance if required. A formal due diligence information request is provided to the Vendor to support an efficient review.

5. Unconditional

If due diligence and finance requirements are satisfied, Goode Investments declares the agreement unconditional, and the agreed deposit is transferred to the Vendor’s solicitor’s trust account.

6. Meet the Team

Goode Property’s Senior Management team is introduced to incoming staff to ensure a smooth and supportive transition, and team members are offered new employment with Goode Property.

7. Integration

The business, portfolio, and team are integrated into Goode Property, with systems and processes aligned to ensure continuity and stability.

8. Settlement

Settlement is completed, with funds (less any agreed retention amount) transferred to the Vendor.

9. Takeover

Goode Property formally announces the acquisition to clients, tenants, and suppliers, reinforcing continuity, protecting relationships, and ensuring long-term success.

10. Retention

Following the retention period, remaining retention funds, after applicable adjustments, will be transferred to the vendor by the vendor’s solicitor.
